All the advice

  1. Check training and experience

Look into the dentist’s qualifications and experience with the treatment you are considering, such as implants or veneers. Seek an established clinic with a documented history.

  2. Ask about clinical facilities

Look for an in-house laboratory, digital smile design and 3D imaging to support assessment and treatment planning.

  3. Review real patient outcomes

Read patient feedback, watch video accounts and examine before-and-after photographs of treatments similar to yours.

  4. Agree on communication and follow-up

Check that the team speaks English and explains how you can reach them and receive follow-up care after returning home.

  5. Consider the location

A central clinic near accommodation and local amenities can make your stay and journeys to appointments more comfortable.

  6. Clarify emergency arrangements

Ask how the clinic can arrange hospital access when needed and request a direct number for urgent contact.
